Jean-Philippe Matondo
Meet Jean-Philippe (JP)
Rooted in Faith. Driven by Purpose.

Congolese Roots & Family Heritage
Jean-Philippe Matondo Kingolo was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. From his earliest years, he was shaped by a family culture that placed deep value on faith, responsibility, education, and service. His Congolese heritage is not simply a part of his past — it is woven into the fabric of who he is: the warmth he brings to relationships, the respect he carries for elders and community, and the conviction that one's life should be lived in service to something greater than oneself.
Education & Professional Journey
After moving to the United States, Jean-Philippe pursued his undergraduate studies at Worcester State University in Massachusetts, where he studied International Business and explored political science. His time there was marked not only by academic growth but by a genuine desire to engage with the world — participating in student government and serving in the French Club. He later continued his graduate education at Hult International Business School in San Francisco, developing expertise in international business, business analytics, and quantitative disciplines. Professionally, JP has built a career in banking, financial services, regulatory compliance, and financial crime prevention, bringing both precision and integrity to his work with major financial institutions.
Faith, Leadership & Service
At the center of Jean-Philippe's life is his Christian faith. His relationship with God is not a compartment of his life — it is the foundation from which everything else flows. Through his active involvement with Green Pastures Church, JP has served in the media and communications ministry, combining his passion for technology and creativity with a genuine desire to advance the church's mission. He understands leadership not as a title but as a calling — to show up, to serve, and to inspire others to do the same.
Beyond the Professional World
Outside of his career and ministry, Jean-Philippe is a man of curiosity and connection. He has a deep passion for technology, communications, and the power of storytelling. He values meaningful conversations, lifelong learning, and the kind of relationships that challenge and encourage growth. Above all, JP is a man who loves God, cherishes his family, and is committed to making a positive difference — one relationship, one decision, one day at a time.
Ketsia Biolo Matondo
Meet Ketsia
Grace. Faith. Intelligence. Compassion.
Faith • Science • Creativity • Service
Roots & Family
Ketsia Biolo Diambote — now Ketsia Biolo Matondo — was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Growing up as one of six children, she was raised in a home where faith, hard work, family unity, and compassion were not simply spoken values but lived ones. Her upbringing instilled in her a deep sense of belonging, a love for her Congolese heritage, and a quiet strength that has carried her through every season of life. Family, for Ketsia, is everything — and that devotion to the people she loves is one of the most beautiful things about her.
Education & Scientific Career
Ketsia's academic journey began with secondary studies at Le Printemps in Lubumbashi, where she pursued a scientific foundation in biochemistry. She later continued her education in the United States at the University of North Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry in 2023. Her academic path reflects a mind that is both disciplined and curious — one that finds meaning in discovery and excellence in detail. As a laboratory technician, Ketsia has brought that same dedication to her professional work, demonstrating scientific curiosity, precision, and a commitment to doing things well.
Faith & Service
Ketsia's Christian faith is the quiet anchor of her life. She has served faithfully in church ministries — including praise and worship and financial administration — giving her time and talents generously and without fanfare. Her faith is not performative; it is personal, sincere, and deeply rooted. She believes in showing up for others, in the power of prayer, and in the truth that a life of service is a life well lived.
Creativity & Personal Interests
Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, Ketsia is a woman of warmth, creativity, and genuine care for others. She has a gift for hair braiding — a creative expression that also reflects her love of beauty and her joy in making others feel seen and celebrated. She is the kind of person who remembers the small things, who shows up when it matters, and who brings light into every room she enters. Ketsia's story is one of faith, intelligence, purpose, and grace — and it is still beautifully unfolding.
Our Journey Together
Two Journeys. One Beautiful Story.
“Before our paths crossed, we each had a story — shaped by our families, our faith, our dreams, and the journeys that brought us from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the United States. When our lives came together, we discovered something beautiful: two different journeys, united by love, purpose, and God's grace.”
Jean-Philippe and Ketsia share more than a last name — they share a heritage, a faith, and a vision for the life they are building together. Both born in Kinshasa, both shaped by the richness of Congolese culture, and both carried by God's hand to the United States, their individual journeys were quietly preparing them for the moment their paths would cross in Parma, Ohio. What began as a friendship grew into something neither of them could have planned. Through honest conversations, shared laughter, and a deepening respect for one another, their connection became a relationship — and that relationship became a covenant. In August 2026, surrounded by the love of their families and the joy of their community, Jean-Philippe and Ketsia celebrated their marriage. It was not simply a beautiful wedding; it was the beginning of a shared mission — to love well, to serve faithfully, and to build a home rooted in God's grace.
Their journey continues. And the best chapters are still ahead.
